We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Nurse to join our clinical team at Rodericks Dental Partners. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in providing high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Dental Nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth running of the dental nursing team.
- Manage the training and development of Trainee/Apprentice Dental Nurses, mentoring them through their initial induction and providing ongoing support as they learn.
- Assist the Practice Manager in ensuring the effective operation of the dental nursing team, including recruitment and compliance duties.
- Collaborate with dentists to deliver excellent patient care, working with clinical freedom to provide the best possible solutions for each patient.
- Contribute to the development of the practice's clinical policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical techniques and technologies.
- Relevant live GDC registration.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and influencing skills, with the ability to drive clinical efficiency and contribute to practice performance goals.
- Knowledge of Private and NHS dentistry, with the ability to support treatment options and drive surgery efficiency.
- Understanding of GDC and other regulatory responsibilities, with the ability to ensure compliance and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
