About the Role
Manchester Signs is seeking a talented individual to join its team as an Apprentice Sign Maker. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for learning various sign applications, including computer designing and printing, cutting panels, and fixing graphics on vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and production of signs, including cutting panels and applying graphics
- Work under supervision to learn various sign applications, including computer designing and printing
- Assist with other members of staff when required, including loading processes and RIP software
- Use wide format printers, including the EPSON Sure Colour and EPSON V7000
- Learn about the loading processes and RIP software
- Follow instructions and work to deadlines
- Package signs for dispatch
Requirements
- Keen and willing to learn
- Punctual and reliable
- Practical ability and numerate and literate
- Willing to progress and take on new challenges
