Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer – Fanuc or Siemens

Salary from: £45k
Overtime Available: x 1.5 x2
Shifts: Nights
Schedule: Monday to Wednesday 8pm to 8am & Thursday 8pm to 6am - 3 Days off

Our client specializes in precision engineering of bespoke machine components for UK and global customers. With a focus on quality and precision, they deliver projects swiftly and accurately, regardless of scale or budget.

Job Description:

The CNC Turner, programmer, setter operator will be responsible for:

  • Programming jobs unaided from drawings using Fanuc or Siemens controls.
  • Programming jobs with 3+2 axis Milling machines.
  • Loading machine with Vices / Fixture.
  • Loading the tooling with correct offsets.
  • Uploading programs.
  • Running the jobs to completion to our exacting standards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience of programming, setting and operating Milling machines using Fanuc or Siemens controls.
  • The ability to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Ideal experience with an engineering apprenticeship, however experience is the overriding factor.
  • Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the workload of the business.
  • The ability to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
  • Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
  • A professional and self-motivated attitude.
  • Good organisational & time management skills.
