Chief Technology Strategist

Job Overview:

Tridonic, a leading electronics manufacturer and provider of smart lighting solutions, is seeking a Chief Technology Strategist to lead cutting-edge developments at our Spennymoor site. As a key member of the Technology & Innovation team, you will drive innovation, develop strategic plans, and foster collaboration within the team.

Main Objectives:

1. Drive the development of new technologies for emergency lighting and sensors.
2. Align our technology roadmap with product strategies to ensure seamless integration of innovative technologies into our product portfolio.
3. Leverage your expertise to drive key product developments that enhance our market position.
4. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the Technology & Innovation team.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and improve overall efficiency.
6. Engage with the global organization and stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Electronics or Physics, or similar field.
• Experience in electronic design in a comparable field.
• Able to demonstrate a record in concept designing and developing Switch Mode Power Supplies.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in developing a team.
• Ability to network effectively and build strong internal and external relationships.

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our estimate for this role is around £95,000 per annum, based on average UK salaries for similar positions.
