About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Markets Governance & Control team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and implementation of effective controls within the Markets Trading and Sales businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executing and reporting the results of control testing
  • Supervising and coaching junior team members
  • Monitoring the execution of the testing programme and resolving obstacles
  • Maintaining high standards and best practices for testing activities
  • Providing valuable insights and challenge to stakeholders on control design and effectiveness
  • Assisting stakeholders in control remediation efforts
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across Front Office, Markets Conduct Risk, Compliance, and Operational Risk
  • Presenting impactful summary outputs from the testing programme
  • Providing Markets controls subject matter expertise across all three lines of defence
Requirements
  • A solid understanding of Markets business activities and associated regulations
  • Knowledge of Markets Operational and Compliance risks, as well as related controls
  • Strong expertise in control design assessment and effectiveness testing techniques
  • Previous experience in Front Office controls testing, internal audit, external audit/control consulting, or similar disciplines
  • The ability to coach and develop team members
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver rigorously
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective senior stakeholder relationships
  • A track record of providing constructive and effective challenge to senior stakeholders on risk management matters
What We Offer
  • Competitive daily rate of £500 to £600 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
