About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Construction Quantifier to join our team at Steve Ball Recruitment. As an experienced estimator, you will be responsible for managing estimations for smaller projects, using spreadsheets to calculate quantities and develop pricing based on labour norms. Your research skills will be essential in determining the cost of materials, equipment, transport, and labour.

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This salary is estimated based on the location and industry standards.

About You: To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience working as an estimator or assistant estimator in either the construction or engineering sectors. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, are also required, with a willingness to learn new estimating software. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage estimations for smaller projects, using spreadsheets to calculate quantities and develop pricing based on labour norms.
• Research the cost of materials, equipment, transport, and labour.
• Pricing and Quotation: Collaborate with colleagues to develop accurate quotations for clients.
