We are Eastbourne Association Of Voluntary Services, a charitable organization dedicated to providing support and resources to the LGBTQ+ community in Eastbourne. Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming space for young people to connect, learn, and grow.

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a volunteer mentor to join our team and provide support and guidance to our youth participants. As a volunteer mentor, you will play a vital role in helping our youth participants build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their goals. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of our community.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, volunteers, and other stakeholders. You will also have a good understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and its needs, as well as experience working with young people or in a related field.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide individualized support and guidance to youth participants
* Deliver workshops and programs on topics such as self-care, mental health, and goal setting
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement program initiatives
* Build and maintain relationships with local organizations and community groups
