This IT career role is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in cyber security. As a Cyber Security Degree Apprentice at Leonardo UK Ltd, you will work with experienced professionals to identify and mitigate potential security risks, analyse security threats, and develop solutions to protect our customers' systems and data.

During your apprenticeship, you will work toward completing a Cyber Security degree, gaining comprehensive exposure to various aspects of the field. You will report to a Senior Cyber Security Consultant and develop your skills and knowledge while providing cyber security support to various customer projects and working on your own assigned development project.

The primary role of a Cyber Security Degree Apprentice is to apply your knowledge of cyber threats, hazards, risks, controls, and mitigation techniques to protect organisations and individuals. You will work to achieve security outcomes in a legal and regulatory context, gaining hands-on experience with information security and delivering solutions that fulfil organisational requirements.

  • Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware, and security
  • Great teamwork skills and the ability to manage your time effectively
