About the Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as self-employed delivery drivers in Carlisle. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load pre-sorted packages onto your van and deliver them to customers
  • Adhere to all safety regulations on the road
  • Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
  • Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude

Requirements

  • Passion for driving and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent problem solver with good communication skills, both spoken and written English
  • Ability to lift and shift packages of varying weights
  • Commercial (or work-related) driving experience is a plus but not essential
  • Full and valid manual UK or EU Driving Licence (max 6 points, NO active IN, DR or TT codes)
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must pass a 5 point drug & alcohol test
  • Must be aged 18+
