About The Role

EKC Group is seeking an Estates Assistant to join the team at EKC Canterbury College. As an Estates Assistant, you will play a key role in providing caretaking services across the college.

The position covers a range of services associated with Estates functions, including unlock and lock duties of buildings, setting intruder alarms, and being part of the on-call team.

About You

We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious member to join our team. As an Estates Assistant, you will be able to work independently or as part of a team, be flexible in your approach to tasks, and have effective organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.

You will have experience, knowledge, or ability to learn areas around Estate and building maintenance, good DIY skills, a good understanding of health and safety, fire alarm and emergency light testing, and record keeping.

While experience is advantageous, what is more important is your enthusiasm and commitment to delivering excellent results.

Requirements
  • Ability to live within 20 minutes of the campus.
  • No need for extensive travel.
