Paediatric Dietitian Specialising in Nutritional Support

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Dietitian to specialise in the nutritional support of paediatric patients, particularly those with liver disease and intestinal failure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric dietetics and experience in enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the dietetic management of paediatric patients on parenteral nutrition, as well as those within the intestinal rehabilitation service. They will also provide outpatient support to the paediatric liver and gastroenterology services.
This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for the current post holder. The post holder will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients and their families.
The paediatric dietetic team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust sits within the wider paediatric dietetic team at Denmark Hill, which has 13 Dietitians covering a wide range of specialties. The team offers excellent training and development opportunities, and we actively support the Kings-flex policy of accommodating flexible working hours.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the dietetic management of paediatric patients on parenteral nutrition
- Providing outpatient support to the paediatric liver and gastroenterology services
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients and their families
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Current HCPC registration
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Significant relevant previous paediatric dietetic experience
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced Paediatric Dietitian who is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients and their families. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
