Accountant Trainee Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified or part-qualified accountant to join our team at our Grimsby office. This is a full-time role that offers a great work-life balance, job satisfaction, and the chance to become part of the Forrester Boyd family. We will also fund study support for ACA or ACCA if you are a part-qualified applicant wishing to pursue these higher qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze accounts for seniors and partners
- Assist with auditing tasks
- Calculate tax payable, prepare tax returns, and perform VAT returns
- Job planning and reviewing files and correspondence prepared by trainees/accounts assistants
Requirements:
To be successful, you must be AAT level 4 qualified with experience at a minimum. You should be working towards your ACA or ACCA qualification or be fully qualified. You must also possess the following skills:
- Proven track record in a practice environment
- Able to work unaided to strict deadlines
- Apply theory and practice and reach logical conclusions
- Build constructive relationships with other team members
- Accept instruction from senior personnel
