Job Summary
Talented People Solutions Commercial Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality maintenance tasks on automated equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our cold storage facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Repair and maintain automated machinery, including general site maintenance duties.
- Ensure compliance with supplier guidelines for maintaining conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, and oxygen reduction units.
Requirements
- Must be a qualified, time-served engineer with comprehensive knowledge of both traditional and advanced technology.
- A recognised electrical qualification is essential.
- Experience working with automated stacker cranes and roller conveyor systems is preferred.
- Should be proactive, independent, and confident in decision-making, with a clear understanding of when to escalate matters.
- Strong communication and organisational skills to liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, regulators, auditors, and vendors.
- Previous experience in automated warehouse environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 42 metres.
- Due to health and safety regulations, candidates must not exceed 125kg in weight.
Working Conditions
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating days and nights
