About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Senior to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting services and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including sole trader accounts, personal tax returns, company accounts, and corporation tax returns.
  • Provide VAT advice and compliance services, maintaining a high technical and professional standard.
  • Coach, train, and develop junior staff to improve their knowledge and skills.
  • Develop skills in key areas such as Xero and other cloud-based systems.
  • Undertake wider practice activities as required.
  • Communicate effectively with the team on any issues or findings.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with clients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • 23 years post-AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in accounts preparation in an accountancy practice.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage own workload and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Problem solver with investigative nature.
  • IT literate and able to use MS Excel and Word.
