About the Role

Barker Ross Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker in London.

The successful candidate will support the Team Manager and Service Manager to implement training and research resources, ensuring that each member of staff's skills, aptitudes, training, and experiences are fully utilised for service and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the development and implementation of projects or plans to address the needs of homeless and complex needs clients.
  2. Collaborate with the team to create and deliver training resources, ensuring that staff skills and experiences are utilised effectively.
  3. Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure that the service is meeting the needs of clients with mental health, substance use, or physical health needs.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.
  5. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure that the service is meeting its objectives.
Requirements
  1. Experience of working with homeless and/or complex needs clients, including mental health, substance use, or physical health needs.
  2. Strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office programmes and database recording systems.
  3. A strong understanding of the issues that could disrupt progress in journeys towards independence, such as mental health, substance misuse, self-harm, domestic violence, anger management, learning impairment, and/or frailty due to illness.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients, staff, and external partners.
