Job Overview

Our client, a leading provider of offshore infrastructure support services, seeks a skilled Marine Engineer to join their team. This full-time opportunity is based in Lowestoft and involves working on a fleet of Emergency Response and Rescue vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs to fast rescue and daughter craft onboard vessels or in-house repair workshops.
  • Ensure all shipboard repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • Keep company-approved Planned Maintenance records up to date.
  • Provide out-of-hours support as needed.
  • Actively promote and progress the company's QHSE policies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Marine or General Engineering background/qualification.
  • Good understanding of petrol 2/4 stroke engines or diesel engines.
  • Knowledge/experience of 12-volt electrics and/or the marine industry.
  • Computer literate.
  • Full driving license.
