Activity Worker

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Activity Worker to join our team at Samphire Ward, an adult acute mental health inpatient ward based at Chatterton House, Kings Lynn. As an Activity Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering clinically effective pathways of treatment and intervention, working closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, reduce length of admission, and enhance mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver meaningful activities to patients on Samphire Ward, incorporating evidence-based interventions to enhance recovery and reduce length of admission.
- Work collaboratively with the therapy team to develop and implement individual and groupwork plans, promoting independence and enhancing opportunities for meaningful participation in daily life.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a supportive and inclusive ward environment, fostering a culture of respect and empathy among patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in regular supervision, professional development, and staff welfare activities to ensure ongoing growth and support.
