We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Smart Manufacturing. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and consistency, while maintaining compliance with international and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the retention of key approvals, including ISO9001, AS9100, and AS9120
  • Act as the focal point for all quality standards, including regulatory, customer-specific, and internal standards
  • Support audit teams to ensure business compliance
  • Release authority for products as needed in Europe
  • Ensure supply chain compliance processes are in place and maintained
  • Make key decisions in the Material Review Board (MRB) process for rejects in Europe
  • Review, follow up, and respond to customer complaints in a timely manner, and implement root cause corrective actions
  • Confirm that new product introductions (NPI) meet standards and are production-ready
  • Validate that training and competency plans for operational teams ensure necessary standards are met
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in quality, business, marketing, or engineering
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100, and AS9120
  • Experience with liaising with certification bodies for surveillance and re-certification audits
  • Ideal degree qualification in a technical engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Membership or accreditation from a professional body is highly desirable
  • Aerospace or similar industry experience is an advantage
