Job Title: Associate Transport Modeller

We are seeking an experienced Associate Transport Modeller to join our team at Rodgers Leask, a leading consulting engineering firm. As a key member of our transport planning team, you will be responsible for leading the expansion of our Nottingham office, working closely with our Regional Director and Transport Planning Associate Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth and development of our transport planning team in Nottingham
  • Manage multiple projects, key client contacts, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Develop and implement transport planning strategies and solutions
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver projects of varying complexity
  • Provide expert witness testimony at planning appeals and local plan examination hearings

Requirements:

  • 12+ years' experience in transport planning, with a proven track record of business development and team management
  • Excellent report writing skills, with experience in preparing transport notes, statements, and assessments
  • Knowledge of local and national transport policy and guidance, as well as sustainable and active travel innovations
  • Proficiency in transport planning software, including DfT Webtag, VISSIM, and PARAMICS Discovery
  • Competent use of GIS software packages, such as QGIS and ArcGIS
