London, Greater London, United Kingdom The Good Care Group Ltd Full time
Opportunity for a Companionship and Support Worker

The Good Care Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a live-in carer in Devon. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide companionship and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

We aim to match you with a client based on your skills and experience, the client's needs, and any shared interests. As a live-in carer, you will be responsible for providing a daily average of 6-12 hours care provision to your client, including managing medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's. You will also assist with personal care and help with daily activities. A driver's license is an advantage but not required, as the client provides the car and insurance for occasional trips out or to go shopping.

With a minimum of 6 months' professional care experience in any care setting, you will have the necessary skills to provide high-quality care and companionship. We offer a competitive salary, with pay based on your care experience, pension, and bank holiday enhancements. Additionally, we cover all UK travel expenses, providing flexibility and convenience for you.

This role requires flexibility to travel to your client placement, with opportunities nationwide. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and building meaningful relationships, we encourage you to apply. With ongoing training and development, including a level 2 diploma in working in care services and a level 3 award in awareness of dementia, you will have the tools to excel in this rewarding role.
