About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Professional to join our team at LightSpeed Broadband. As a Senior Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in developing and executing our brand strategy, driving customer adoption, and supporting the sales and marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies through social media platforms, blogs, and events.
  • Direct the sponsorship of local events and activities that support the brand.
  • Oversee branded events and activities to support the sales and marketing team.
  • Support the execution of LightSpeed's brand strategy, ensuring the continual evolution of the positioning to drive brand preference within our areas of operation.
  • Digitally-savvy, thrive on building relationships, and excited by the idea of coordinating dynamic customer campaigns on a regular basis.
  • Act as a central point of contact for all LightSpeed marketing activities.
  • Drive customer adoption by supporting and executing B2C, B2B, desk, community engagement, and wholesale marketing activities.
  • Support the marketing team with executing social media posts, blogs, local advertising, and news articles.
  • Transform our current presence online and be seen as a thought leader.
  • Participate in and support branded events and activities to generate content.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to help deliver key messages and support on marketing campaigns and activity.
  • Keep abreast of current trends in marketing.
  • The ability to travel widely as required.
Requirements
  • Degree educated, preferably in marketing, social media, journalism, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • ~2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong grasp of written English, including grammar and spelling, is essential for social media and blog content.
  • Project Management – experience managing multiple streams of tasks with competing deadlines is key to this role.
  • Ability to work on own initiative – planning, prioritising, and juggling multiple workloads.
