About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lifting Engineer - Appointed Person to join our team at Hinkley Point C, working on the prestigious nuclear project. As a key member of the MEH Alliance, you will be responsible for planning and executing lifting operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate lifting activities, including resource allocation and risk assessment.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective control of lifting operations.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of lifting equipment and accessories.
  • Develop lift plans in accordance with NNB Management of Lifting Operations Standard.
  • Lead a team of Lifting Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Essential experience in lifting operations, preferably in a nuclear environment.
  • Proven track record in leading a team and managing lifting activities.
  • Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, including cranes and rigging.
  • AutoCAD proficiency and experience with lift planning software.
  • Security clearance and ability to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance.
