Contracts Manager Job Description

About the Role:
As a Contracts Manager at Engineered Connections Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of multiple resin flooring projects. Your key objective will be to ensure that these projects are completed to the highest standards, while adhering to budgets and schedules. You will work closely with the wider team and clients to ensure that all contractual obligations are met efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Oversight: Manage and oversee all contractual aspects of works, from initial agreements to final delivery.
  2. Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contractual matters, addressing queries and ensuring their needs are met.
  3. Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with contractual, environmental, health, safety, and CDM 2015 regulations.
  4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the on-site team to coordinate project activities, schedules, and resource allocation.
  5. Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and addressing any financial discrepancies.
  6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues within contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contract-related documents and communications.

Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in contract management within the industrial or commercial sector. Experience in floor coating would be advantageous.
Skills: Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of contract law, project management principles, and industry regulations.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in contract management, construction management, or a related field (e.g., RICS, APM).
