Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounts, ledgers, bank accounts, and assets.
  • Oversee payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Maintain internal controls and relevant policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Produce high-quality monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights into company performance.
  • Develop and interpret management information, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage cash flow and foreign exchange risk, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Establish and update annual budgets, incorporating interim forecasts to ensure financial stability.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, submitting required documents in a timely manner.
  • Review commercial contracts, assessing project budgets and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Nurture relationships with external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a comparable role, holding CIMA/ACCA qualifications or demonstrating equivalent expertise. Strong Excel skills and analytical aptitude are essential, along with a solid understanding of accounting software principles.
