About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Water and Utilities team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to challenging engineering dilemmas, working closely with our Senior and Principal Engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new and replacement potable water mains, foul drainage, and CSO remediation work
  • Contribute to conventional and urban drainage design, solving complex engineering problems
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Relevant Civil Engineering degree (Masters desirable but not essential)
  • 3+ years of experience within the water industry, with a strong understanding of potable, surface, and foul water design and construction
  • Knowledge of Water Authority approval processes, including S104 and S106
  • Competent in 3D design and modelling using MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
