Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Equipment Technician to join our team at D R Newitt & Associates. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

">Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of plant equipment.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty plant equipment and components.
  • Implement and maintain effective preventative maintenance programs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any issues affecting facility operations.
">Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in plant equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary in the range of £47,000 - £53,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and growth.
