Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team in Middlesbrough (hybrid, 2-3 days in the office).
The Role: This engineer will be integral in delivering 3rd line IT support, managing live services, and resolving incidents. They will also support ongoing project initiatives aimed at enhancing and upgrading infrastructure.
- Provide 3rd line IT support, managing case workflows and resolving issues alongside internal teams and suppliers.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance using tools like DataDog and Azure Monitor.
- Implement security best practices including access management (IAM), firewalls, and network security, ensuring compliance with industry standards like Cyber Essentials and ISO27001.
- Support infrastructure upgrades and contribute to the company's digital transformation projects.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in IT support with a focus on Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware).
- Proficiency in monitoring tools and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
