Malaberg's food manufacturing facility in Coalville is recruiting an experienced HSE Coordinator to implement and maintain health and safety standards. As a crucial member of the operations team, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and Health & Safety Lead to ensure a safe working environment.

About the Job:

This is a challenging role that requires a dedicated individual with strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies and programs, conducting risk assessments, and enforcing preventative measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and programs to ensure a safe workplace.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  3. Organize and conduct training sessions on health and safety practices and regulations.
  4. Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker's compensation claims.
  5. Participate in continuing education to update knowledge of health and safety protocols and techniques.
What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an individual with:

  • A NEBOSH certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.
  • The ability to motivate others and promote safety awareness.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
