As a vital member of the Finance team, you will engage in strategic business partnering at a senior level across various key departments, playing an integral role in enhancing overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth and reduce risk by identifying key insights and emerging trends.
- Own the management reporting process and collaborate with senior leadership to share best practice and insights that impact the wider business.
- Act as a key advisor to the business unit through financial insight and data, helping to continually challenge assumptions.
- Lead enhancements in the analysis and comprehension of investment in CapEx and OpEx.
- Develop robust business cases to support sizable investments and projects.
- Develop regular forecasts that accurately predict performance based on trends and drivers.
- Own the budgeting process and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
- Partner with senior leadership to define and develop appropriate KPIs for the business.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with demonstrated PQE.
- Proven track record of building business cases.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to influence upwards.
- Previous experience business partnering across a Tech-focussed directorate with a thorough understanding of associated KPIs is highly desirable.
