Job Title: CNC Machinist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our globally operating manufacturing business. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting and operating various Fanuc & HAAS controlled machining centres and/or lathes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machining complex Oil & Gas components from a variety of materials
• Assist with the development and implementation of new cutting strategies, programme improvement and increasing machining efficiency
• Setting and operating various Fanuc & HAAS controlled machining centres and/or lathes

Requirements:

• FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline, Mechanical Engineering/Machining (Apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds Level 3 etc.)
• IDEAL EXPERIENCE: Experience working in a similar role as a Programmer, Setter/Operator or Machinist within a high precision machining environment

Working Hours:

37 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
Friday: 07:30 to 12:30
