Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:
Contract Scotland's client, a cost consultancy, based in Glasgow, has an opportunity for an assistant level quantity surveyor to join a growing business. The company has a huge network of clients in Scotland, covering residential, commercial, fit-out, civils, and sub-contracting, providing commercial services on their behalf.
The role will be working as commercial support, working with a lead surveyor on one of several live projects. The successful candidate may be based in the head office in Glasgow, with a requirement for travel to Glasgow-based clients.
This role would suit either a recent graduate in quantity surveying or someone with 1-2 years post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have an HND in Quantity Surveying (or be working towards achieving this) and be competent in working with Microsoft Office Packages.
Key Responsibilities:
Working as commercial support on live projects
Collaborating with lead surveyors
Traveling to Glasgow-based clients
Requirements:
HND in Quantity Surveying (or working towards achieving this)
Competent in working with Microsoft Office Packages
