Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom Tangram Full time

As a Medical Practitioner in our Alpine Emergency Care team at Tangram, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical treatment to guests and staff on-site at Mt Hutt ski resort. We are seeking an experienced Emergency Doctor to join our crew for the upcoming season.

The position runs from June to October, during which time you will be required to provide front-line medical care at our Ski Area Medical Centre. You will treat both paediatric and adult trauma cases, utilizing your comprehensive knowledge of accident and emergency triage to make quick and informed decisions.

We're looking for someone with four years of post-grad experience, including a minimum of six months in emergency medicine. You should hold a Core Advanced Certificate (issued within the past three years) and have excellent communication skills. Experience with orthopaedic, sport injuries, and anaesthetic procedures would be advantageous, as would previous Medical Practice management skills.

In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and the ability to think critically under pressure. You must be comfortable working in an alpine environment, where weather conditions can be unpredictable.

A competitive salary of $NZD 120,000 per annum reflects the importance we place on attracting top talent to our team. As a valued member of our team, you will also receive comprehensive benefits, including medical indemnity insurance and assistance with registration and work visa sponsorship for international applicants.

Working at Mt Hutt ski resort offers the opportunity to enjoy stunning mountain landscapes and engage with a diverse community of outdoor enthusiasts. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are willing to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply.
