Technical Lead for Complex Systems Development

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for Complex Systems Development to join our team at Raytheon Technologies in Harlow. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of complex systems and deliver high-profile programmes to customers based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in the development of complex systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
- Work closely with engineering specialists to define safety and security architectures, validating architecture models and preparing reviews.
- Define, derive, and capture system requirements, collaborating with other systems engineers and subject matter experts.
- Support the maturation of Raytheon's architecture business capability by defining improved processes, methodologies, and work instructions.
- Contribute to the design development of complex systems to ensure compliance with defined technical architecture.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable experience in systems development across the development lifecycle.
- Experience in defining system architecture for complex systems.
- Ability to deploy Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Keen analytical approach to solving complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas, engage, and convince stakeholders.
- Experience in managing requirements.
- Eligibility for or current SC security clearance.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including:
- 25 days' holiday + statutory public holidays, plus opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days.
