Job Summary:

Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in a Class 1 Driver role. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting products on behalf of our company and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Duties: You will be responsible for general driving duties, observing current legal and best practice, delivering and collecting to/from our customer's premises or other MDS locations.
  • Product Delivery: You will deliver product on behalf of MDS and their customers, using electronic POD and up-to-date technology (full training provided).
  • Loading and Unloading: You will assist with loading and unloading products.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A full UK C+E licence and 12 months previous Class 1 driving experience.
  • Driving Skills: Excellent driving skills and a good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
  • License Requirements: No more than 6 points on your licence and no previous disqualifications.
