About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Repairs and Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating repairs and maintenance activities within the housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calls on our system to ensure efficient allocation of resources
  • Coordinate operative diaries to optimize scheduling and minimize downtime
  • Perform general administration tasks to support the team
  • Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative
  • Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively to meet client needs
  • Liaise with operatives, tenants, and clients to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues
  • Document control: receive and check worksheets to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Work towards individual and client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage council and private housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential, and emergency property maintenance works
  • Track and monitor progress to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Liaise with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen to plan appointments, materials, and logistics, and reorganize schedules as needed
  • Organize external supply companies to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Ensure all trades are ready and present on-site, and works are completed in-line with committed client completion dates
  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with constant collaboration with key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and trades
