About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Podiatry Specialist to join our team at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals Trust. As a key member of our Foot Health department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatry services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide autonomous quality podiatry assessment and treatment to a wide range of patients with systemic chronic or acute medical and social needs.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, utilizing recognized techniques and clinical reasoning.
  • Contribute to the development of our podiatry services, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Relevant education at GCSE and 'A' level or equivalent.
  • Diploma/Degree in Podiatry.
  • Experience of working as part of a podiatry team and/or multi-disciplinary team within the NHS.
  • Local knowledge of the workings of Foot health services in Sandwell.
