We are seeking a dedicated SEN teacher to join our team in Lancashire, providing one-to-one tuition to young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and other additional educational needs. As a SEN/SEND tutor, you will be part of a child-centred company committed to transforming support for vulnerable young people.

Job Overview:

  • Extensive CPD is provided to ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and practices.
  • A SEN/SEND Support Team is available to provide guidance and support throughout your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Work with young people referred by local authorities and schools, providing flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Plan each session, provide engaging sessions, and complete lesson reports.

Requirements:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per year, depending on experience.
