A skilled Manufacturing Specialist is required to support the ongoing success of a prominent player in the Life Science industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Engineering & Manufacturing principles and contribute to the company's continued growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending to electro-mechanical faults, diagnosing and repairing in a timely manner to meet production targets.
  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and refurbishing offline machinery and ancillaries.
  • Ensuring all manufacturing equipment is set up and produces product according to established Quality Control specifications and standards.
  • Continually supervising in-process quality, addressing issues as needed to prevent product holds.
  • Working closely with Operational, Engineering and Quality Control personnel to actively pursue and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements include:

  • Qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g. C&G, HND) or a time served apprenticeship.
  • Experience in a high volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.
  • Methodical approach, organised and self-motivated with a safety awareness of electrical, compressed air and pressurised systems.
