Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Community Social Work Team in Stroud. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting practitioners working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families to understand risk and harm and promote clarity where the level of risk is unclear.
About the TeamOur Community Social Work Team is a county-wide team comprising 8 social workers, two deputy managers, and a team manager. We are a supportive and positive working environment with regular, robust supervision. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people or vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
About YouYou will have a recognised qualification in Social Work, Social Work England registration, and a full driving licence and willingness to drive. You will also have experience gained over at least 3 years as a frontline Social Worker, with a strong understanding of systemic social work practice and a relational approach to working with families. You will be well supported within our experienced team to deliver training on different aspects of safeguarding and so much more.
