Paediatrician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and young people in the community, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Paediatrician to join our team and contribute to the development of our community child health services. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality community child health services, including general paediatric clinics and specialist services for children with neurodisability and safeguarding concerns.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services, including child protection and safeguarding.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care and services for children and young people.
- Contribute to the development of our community child health services, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and support junior doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and services.
We are looking for a Consultant Paediatrician who has:
MRCPCH or equivalent qualification.Full GMC registration.Experience of working in community child health services, including general paediatric clinics and specialist services for children with neurodisability and safeguarding concerns.Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and supporting junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
