Production Team Lead

Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen, a leading food manufacturing site, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Low Risk area, ensuring the production of high-quality cooked food for our market-leading customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of operatives to achieve production targets and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and legality.
- Ensure accurate recording of yield, labour, efficiencies, waste, and other key metrics, and communicate these to the team.
- Understand and optimize the operation of all machinery used in the area to maximize efficiency and achieve target yields.
- Deliver the daily production plan on time and in full, and assist the team in identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to problem-solve and establish agreed solutions.
- Ensure compliance with key company and customer requirements, and assist in audits.
