Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Civil Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Technician to join our team at Carrington West. As a key member of our civils/drainage team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, both in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and analysis of major civil engineering projects, providing expert consultation and technical leadership.
  • Oversee the development of detailed designs, drawings, and layouts for civil engineering projects.
  • Support civil engineers with calculations, documentation, and project oversight.
  • Participate in field surveys and supervise junior technicians for accurate technical drawings.
Requirements:
  • An HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred but not essential.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an engineering environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & Site3D.
  • Ability to produce detailed drawings and 3D models.
  • Familiarity with other structural design software is advantageous.
Key Skills:
  • Experience working collaboratively with engineers and design teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
