About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at ClassRoom Support. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the quality education they need. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans for students with SEN, taking into account their individual needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEN, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • A valid DBS certificate is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience working with students with special educational needs is required.
  • A relevant qualification in education or SEN is desirable, but not essential.
  • A strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices is necessary for this position.
  • The ability to adapt teaching materials and methods to suit the individual needs of students with SEN is crucial.
  • Participation in training and professional development opportunities to enhance SEN knowledge and skills is expected.
