Commercial Legal Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team at Getlink. As a key member of our bi-national legal team, you will play a crucial role in providing commercial, contractual, construction, and compliance-related legal services to internal customers within Getlink and across the Getlink group of companies in the UK and France.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, negotiate, and approve a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, rail-related construction and engineering projects, IT/IP contracts, and marketing/advertising agreements.
- Liaise with colleagues across the business to identify legal considerations arising from our day-to-day operational and commercial activities.
- Work closely with the Head of Legal UK and the Legal Director to meet the objectives of the legal department.
- Assist and contribute to bi-national work between legal team members.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks for the Group's operational and commercial activities.
- Provide training to members of the legal team on key UK legal issues and risks and arrange training for colleagues across our business.
- Provide legal advice and recommendations on regulatory and compliance-related requirements across the Getlink Group of companies.
- Experience in private practice and in-house legal roles, dealing with corporate, commercial, and regulatory-related issues.
- Fluency in English is essential, with French language skills highly desirable.
