Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Professor of Statistics and Data Science to join our academic team. As a Professor, you will assume additional responsibilities and play a crucial role in enhancing the academic and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities: Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing leadership in the curriculum area, guiding and mentoring colleagues to ensure the highest standards in teaching and learning.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Academics or the Dean in leading initiatives for curriculum development and improvement.
  • Programme Development and Oversight: Take a lead role in the development, management, and review of academic programmes within the curriculum area.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A PhD in a relevant field (Senior Lecturer only).
  • Native speaker of English or, if not, have current IELTS 7.5 Academic Certification.
  • High-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess a teaching qualification such as FHEA or PGCHE, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
