Job Overview

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an Academic Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. In this role, you will be working closely with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff and provide feedback to the teacher.
  • Support pupils to understand instructions and support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils.
  • Support the teacher in behaviour management and keeping pupils on task.
  • Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.

What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of £24,027 - £25,183 per annum, which includes £18,132.73 - £19,005.14 actual salary based on part-time hours (32.5 hours per week).
