Job Title: Aircraft Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Procurement Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand our service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate contracts for products, services, and technologies
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure program, customer, product, and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Optimize execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders, and schedule demand
  • Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance
  • Mitigate risks and issues
  • Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies
  • Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
  • Support sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of the commodity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP/ERP knowledge
  • Adaptability and global mindset
  • Building positive relationships
  • Strong and effective communication
  • Customer focus
  • Analytical skills and tool development for sustainability initiatives

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
