Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration/Systems Analyst to join our Implementation Team at Workpro. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, functionality, and performance of our systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure Workpro and associated applications to optimize system performance and functionality.
  • Identify bottlenecks in system performance and implement optimizations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to implement and integrate software solutions, providing guidance and support during development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Utilize SSRS and Power BI to design, develop, and deploy interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards, extracting, transforming, and visualizing data from various sources to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to educate customers on Workpro features, functionalities, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including system configurations, technical manuals, user guides, training materials, and report specifications.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to system analysis, configuration, report development, and customer training.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours rota system to provide support and out-of-hours deployments, with extra holiday days provided for this.
  • Travel to visit customer sites may be required.
Requirements
  • Proficient with SQL, developing performant scripts to select, create, update, and delete data, including writing scripts to process data to meet casework requirements, gathering data for reporting, and importing data from external sources.
  • Deliver customer training, either online or in person.
  • Knowledge of complaints or HR processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy project environment, delivering to tight deadlines and facing tough challenges with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Aptitude for building rapport with customers and colleagues, enabling collaboration, meeting shared objectives, and contributing to discussions on improvements.

Workpro is a case management software for complaints and HR case tracking, developed by Computer Application Services Ltd (CAS), an employee-owned software company based on the Heriot-Watt Research Park to the West of Edinburgh.
