Transport Operations Manager

Job Title: Transport Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Transport Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of plant and building materials within the region and nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- Manage a team of drivers and transport staff to ensure compliance with company and legal guidelines.
- Liaise with yard, workshop, operator, and fleet management departments to achieve depot targets.
- Ensure all depots meet health and safety standards.
- Purchase and sell company vehicles.
Requirements:
- CPC qualification (essential)
- Experience as a Transport Manager, Transport Supervisor, or Transport Team Leader
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work within compliance and health and safety guidelines
Benefits:
- Monday to Friday working hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
- Basic salary up to £40,000
- Full-Time Permanent role
