Senior Nurse Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Sister/Senior Charge Nurse to lead our dedicated Surgical Admissions Unit team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for the 24-hour care delivery and management of the Surgical Admissions Unit, including the supervision of staff and students.
- Maintaining a visible presence and providing clear focus for effective clinical leadership to the team.
- Professionally accountable and responsible for assessing skill mix and team structures and implementing changes in working practices ensuring that care processes and systems support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Promoting a personalized patient-centered approach to care in collaboration with carers, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
- Working collaboratively with Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS) and patient forums to investigate and resolve patient concerns and complaints.
- Ensuring the rights, dignity, privacy, respect, and confidentiality of all patients.
- Holding regular ward meetings, providing opportunities for all staff to discuss and share organizational and professional information.
- Implementing staff wellbeing standards and promoting a culture where staff feel valued and listened to.
